Buying traffic is another option and it can give your traffic stats a very quick boost. It can also be profitable, but you have to be very careful. A great deal of the traffic that is sold is of no use at all.
That is why it is important to know exactly what you are buying. Make sure you research any company that you are interested in using.
Don't be afraid to ask questions like:
where does the traffic come from? Is it real one time visitors or just computer counted hits? Is the traffic targeted or random?
See if you can contact former customers and find out how the service worked for them. Visit marketing forums and ask if anyone else has used it to find out if it is any good. Remember you get what you pay for. The higher the quality the more you can expect to pay.
